Where do I begin, for quite some time I’ve had this assignment on my heart. From the moment I met Josh I knew our union had a bigger purpose that would be revealed to me as the years went on. About a year ago I was led to an amazing Christian blogger. After a few email exchanges she told me she felt pulled toward me and that God was leading her to guide me and help me through this process. God used this young woman to encourage me. She was there to push and stretch me out of my comfort zone. She asked me to write a blog about how I met Josh. I had no experience writing, yet there I was with attempting to write a piece to be shared with thousands of her subscribers around the world. I started draft after draft not knowing where to go or how to tell my story, but one-night God spoke to me and said daughter just tell your story as if you were talking to an old friend but don’t forget to remind the readers about me. Let them know you are mine and that I brought you and Josh together, allow them to see me in your union. This was the beginning stages of what has come to be Graceful Rib.
God placed this vision in me I want to say about two years ago. I wrote my first guest blog about a year ago. Today I have decided to completely step out on faith and allow him to use me. 1 Timothy 4:13-14 says Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of the elders laid their hands on you. As believers we must always use our gifts to edify the kingdom of God. Your gifts and talents are nourished by exercise. I finally understand that what God has placed in me is a gift and I am ready to start this journey. Now that you have some background information, I introduce to some and present to others Graceful Rib.
Graceful Rib is a Christian blog that will give you the uncut triumphs and trials of being a young wife and mother, in Christ. I’ve always felt my walk with God and the journey I am on with my husband was for a bigger purpose. This is my purpose to share a Christ centered love and marriage to those who are married, engaged, dating or single. To be a witness to how great God is and how living for him will direct and guide you.
I hope you all are ready because I know I am!
